Dr. Goen graduated with honors from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 1995. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center and became board certified in Family Medicine in 1999 before leaving to work at a rural hospital in Africa. He returned to the US and completed a Rural Medicine Fellowship at the Quillen College of Medicine in 2011. He serves as an associate clinical professor at ETSU and is a CLEA certified physician and medical director for Plasma Biological Services and a DOT Medical Examiner. Dr. Goen is a member of the American Association of Medical Review Officers and the Obesity Medicine Association.
In 2019, Dr. Goen joined the Complete Laser Clinic & Cosmetic Surgery Center team as medical director. He is passionate about weight loss, aesthetics and helping patients achieve their aesthetic and wellness goals.
