Sclerotherapy: A trained provider will inject your spider veins with a solution that scars and closes those veins, causing the blood to reroute through healthier veins. Within a few weeks the veins will fade from view. This procedure does not require anesthesia and discomfort is minimal. The procedure generally takes about 15 to 30 minutes per leg.
Laser Vein Therapy: This procedure works by sending strong bursts of light into the vein, making it fade and eventually disappear. While no incisions or needles are used for this vein treatment, it can prove to be less effective than sclerotherapy.
