Weight Loss Program!

Complete Laser Clinic now offers a "physician supervised - weight loss program" for all those who need a little help to get those extra pounds off. We use a combination of behavior modification in the form of exercise and diet plans along with appetite suppressants, HCG Shots, B12 lipotropics. We then offer to incorporate RF therapy, with our Accent-Cellulite Laser and mesotherapy to help tighten and firm the skin during and after weight loss.

You will be required to see the Doctor or Physicians Assistant for an initial consult. They will go over your medical history, perform a medical examination and discuss your bariatric treatment plan. Weight, measurements and vital signs will be taken. Your BMI will be calculated and discussed and compared to your body physique. You will be sent home with a packet of information to refer back to if you have any questions. You will need to come back once a month for a routine check-up, which will include an overview of your progress, ways to help keep you on the right path, take your weight and measurements and answer any questions that you may have. We will also obtain and review ,yearly,an EKG, Complete Metabolic Profile, and Lipid Panel. This can be obtain from your doctors office if it has already been done, or by us at CLC.

Dr. Hamel is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians and will be board certified in Bariatric Medicine in September of 2009. He is constantly incorporating the leading modalities and treatments in our fight against obesity.

It is the position of the North Carolina Medical Board that the cornerstones of the treatment of obesity are diet (caloric control) and exercise. Medications and surgery should only be used to treat obesity when the benefits outweigh the risks of the chosen modality.

The treatment of obesity should be based on sound scientific evidence and principles. Adequate medical documentation must be kept so that progress as well as the success or failure of any modality is easily ascertained.
